POSTPARTUM HERB BATH 1OZ
Herb baths are vital during the postpartum recovery period. The women and babies who bathe in the herbs, report a deep sense of satisfaction with the speed in which they recover. These antiseptic herbs may soothe sore perineal muscles, and hemorrhoids, slow bleeding, minimize swelling, and dry the infants umbilical cord. Suggested for external use only - For optimal results take 3-5 baths during the first week postpartum, or as soon after the birth as possible. Soak for at least 20 minutes...................... “Ahhhhhhhh!” Ingredients: Comfrey Leaf*, Shepherd's Purse*, Plantain*, Uva Ursi*, Calendula Flowers*, and Sea Salt. *Organic or wild crafted Garlic can be added to the bath as well. Garlic contains antimicrobial compounds, so if you'd like, you can add a whole bulb of coarsely chopped garlic into the herb bundle. It is not necessary to peel the garlic before chopping. Boil water in a large cooking pot. Fill cloth bag with the salt and herbs. Place the herb bundle into the cooking pot. Turn off the heat. Steep, covered, for at least 20 minutes.
